Illinois Central Railroad’s City of Miami Streamliner
The City of Miami was a seven coach Illinois Central streamliner that carried passengers between Chicago and Miami in about 51 hours. The cars were built by Pullman and the train began operating on December 18, 1940.
The bar was located in the “Bamboo Grove” observation car.
